“After a decent start to the 2007 NHRA Division 4 season with a semi final finish at Houston Raceway Park, we had a quarter final finish at Texas Motorplex Divisional, then an untimely first round exit at Cherokee County Motorsports Park. After the Division 4 summer break and making a few changes to the potent Hayabusa engine combination, we headed to Topeka, Kansas for a out of division points meet. The engine work made all the difference, we were able to go to the semi finals, but had tire shake on the starting line which dealt us the loss but gained good points. Heading in to the last two D4 points meets of the season we were in the top seven in points, a convincing win at Red River Raceway followed by a back to back win at Thunder Valley Raceway Park wrapped up the championship for the team.
