It was a longshot but Kenny Tran and his Q-Power Scion tC have never shied away from a challenge. Pulling into the pits at the season-ending NHRA Sport Compact World Finals at Pomona 37 points behind class leader Stephanie Eggum, Kenny Tran Racing had a clear mission - set the national e.t. record and win the event which he did by a close margin of 2 points. Kenny will ride the wave of adrenaline for a few weeks then meticulously move into preparation mode for 2008. No rest for the weary, even if they are 2008 World Champions.
